Netflix | Back In Action

This was such a fun and interesting project. Netflix and the Rousso Brothers made their largest, most ambitious blockbuster movie to date with The Electric State. In the movie robots and humans have an uneasy relationship, and as part of the marketing for the film, Netflix built real-life functional versions of two “Billbots” in real life. They tapped me to create the voice and tone of these two, and then to script every line of dialogue they exchange with each other from IRl activations like Comic Con to pressers with Christ Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown.

It’s always cool to hear your words said by a celebrity, but even cooler to hear them said by a funny robot in a packed auditorium.
