When an old friend asked me if I had was “fully a commercial director now” I remembered “I want and need money to feed my children” so the answer was a quick and enthusiastic yes. Thus was the start a fruitful and fun series of shoots for LG. I got to bring in lots of UCB friends on these spots as well as leaning on lots of old friends for production, and the result is one of my more favorite guy-talking-directly-to-camera campaigns.
In terms of achievements, the campaign won 2023 Communicator Award of Distinction in the Film & Video - Web Video Series category, and was a finalist for the Shortys, and also boasted some impressive metrics.
21 million total impressions targeting in-market washer shoppers.
17.2 million completed video views, surpassing the initial goal by 14%.
Cost per completed view of $0.03, indicating efficient audience engagement.
